TECHOPS / HOSTING & INFRASTRUCTURE

Infrastructure changes need a safe plan.

Hosting, VPS, DNS, SSL and website migrations are connected to live business systems. Start with a documented environment and agree on access, rollback and verification before making changes.

No blind DNS changes, unapproved production access, guaranteed zero downtime or assumed emergency coverage.

Supported project categories

Find the right infrastructure task.

Each environment has a different risk profile. Scope is based on access, provider policies, compatibility and business-critical dependencies.

01 / HOSTING

Hosting & VPS review

Environment configuration, resource constraints, PHP/database compatibility and service-level diagnostics.

02 / DOMAIN

DNS & routing

Domain mapping, email-related DNS dependencies, TTL planning and redirect checks.

03 / SECURITY

SSL & access

Certificate setup or renewal troubleshooting, HTTPS behavior and least-privilege credential planning.

04 / DELIVERY

Website migration

Files, database, media, dependencies, backup and controlled cutover verification.

Before privileged changes

Protect the path back.

Changes to hosting or DNS can affect checkout, email, integrations or the entire website. Safety checks and an authorized maintenance window depend on the actual task.

  1. 01Confirm ownershipAccounts, domain access and authorized decision maker
  2. 02Inventory dependenciesApplications, mail routing, third-party services and credentials
  3. 03Plan backup & rollbackRestore feasibility, test environment and change window
  4. 04Verify after cutoverHTTPS, content, forms, orders and DNS where applicable
Defined technical scope

A change plan aligned with actual access.

We agree the scope and provider responsibilities before any account or environment modification.

In scope

  • Environment, account ownership and symptom review
  • Focused hosting/VPS/DNS/SSL troubleshooting as agreed
  • Explicit file/database backup and rollback planning for relevant tasks
  • Migration/cutover checklist and stakeholder approval when applicable
  • Post-change checks of availability, HTTPS and essential site journeys
  • A handoff with configuration notes, dependencies and remaining risks

Defined separately

  • Unapproved live changes or direct handling of passwords in initial inquiry
  • Zero-downtime, guaranteed uptime or emergency response promises
  • Provider-side account recovery, billing and inaccessible services
  • Unlimited malware remediation, security audit or disaster recovery
  • New server subscriptions, licensed software or complex architecture redesign
Risk-aware delivery

Inspect → Prepare → Authorize → Verify.

A successful migration or support intervention is validated against agreed website functions, not just a successful login.

  1. 01

    Discover environment

Identify provider ownership, infrastructure and dependent services.

  2. 02

    Prepare safely

Document backups, recovery, DNS considerations and a test plan.

  3. 03

    Approve change

Confirm credentials, responsible contacts and a suitable change window.

  4. 04

    Validate & hand over

Check the critical paths and document ongoing ownership and risks.

Helpful details

Before requesting server support.

Practical answers before requesting a scope.

No. We plan to reduce risk and choose an appropriate cutover approach, but DNS propagation, providers and application dependencies prevent a blanket zero-downtime guarantee.

Do not send root passwords or API tokens in the initial intake. Required privileges are agreed later and delivered via a secure approved method.

We include email-related records and routing in dependency assessment, but provider/account changes require explicit scope and access.

Explain the situation and available access. Recovery and incident response may need a separate specialist engagement; we do not assume they are a routine configuration task.

Plan safe technical work

Describe the system and what needs to change.

Tell us which hosting, domain or server component is affected, the business impact and who controls access. We will propose a safe next step.

Scope and next steps are agreed before implementation.
